Anna's Villa | Bed and Breakfast Connection of Philadelphia

Located just 3 blocks from the local train station, this historic 20 room home built in 1856 was once the residence of the Mayor of Philadelphia over 100 years ago. The original hardwood floors, stain glass windows, 10-foot high ceilings, six fireplaces and center staircase now welcome visitors who desire a taste of the past with modern amenities. Walking through the neighborhood is like stepping back in time with large elegant homes and Old-World Churches on every block.

Choose from three lovely guestrooms offering either a queen or king size bed. A first floor room has a queen bed and private half-bath. The guestrooms on the 2nd floor both have king size beds. The shared bath on the second floor has a claw-foot tub with shower. Each room features high-speed Wi-Fi, flat screen cable TV, air conditioning, radiator heat and portable electric heaters. All rooms include fresh linens, extra towels, extra blankets, in-room bottled water and many other amenities to make your stay both comfortable and enjoyable. A delicious home-cooked breakfast is served each morning in the formal dining room which opens onto a lovely patio flower garden.

Your host arrived in the US from Rome, Italy twenty years ago and speaks fluent English and Italian as well as a little Spanish and French. She has been a successful fashion designer and you are welcome to browse in her showroom.

Bonjour, Nous avons passe 3 nuits a la villa Anna…!!Que du bonheur!! Quel accueil chaleureux!!! (The host and hostess)…est toujours disponible pour vous, pour vous preparer une petite collation, pour vous conduire jusqu’a la gare ou tout simplement pour discuter et echanger. Sa maison est un vrai petit musee et sa chambre tres confortable. Nous nous sommes senti comme chez nous!! Un grande souvenir aussi : les panncakes aux myrtilles du petit dejeuner, faits juste our vous. Un vrai delice. Un grande merci

Anna’s Villa is a beautiful house — my daughter and I both loved it. The hostess is gracious — in addition to being a great cook. She immediately made us feel comfortable and welcome during our two-day stay. It definitely is far superior to hotel accommodations.
